From Vision to Creation

Quotes and Estimates

This stage incudes receiving a client’s worktop plans.

  • Understanding our client’s kitchen workplan.
  • Identifying the needs of the customer and their material choice.
  • Recognizing how many slabs our clients will need.
  • If the team has all the full information needed, a quote will be instantly sent back to the client. However, if there is information that the team may need to gather, we will contact the client to receive the full information before sending a quote back

The Approval

The Approval

This stage follows up from the Quotes stage, where the client is happy with the price given and wishes to proceed.

  • Once deposit has been made, material will be ordered instantly.
  • If the material is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know.

Templating

In addition to the material being ordered, we would require booking you in for a template, ensuring that the kitchen units are in place and ready for templating. 

  • Our templater visits the site to measure all worktops.
  • Analyses the area and provides feedback to the team and client.
  • Notes all cut-outs for sink, hob, tap, and sockets.
  • Ensures all appliances are on-site for accurate measurements.

Manufacturing and cutting

This stage is the most exciting part of the process. Once the template is ready, our warehouse team begins cutting the stone.

  • Template returned to the workshop for cutting.
  • Slab cut horizontally and vertically on the saw machine.
  • Transferred to the waterjet for precise cut-outs.
  • Edges polished for a smooth finish.
  • Final inspection and approval by the warehouse manager.

Installation

  • Once approved, a team member will be in touch to book an installation date.
  • We aim to fit your worktops within 7-10 days from templating, if there are no changes and material is in stock. Please note where mitring is required this can vary the timeline.
  • Once a date and time is confirmed, our fitting team will visit the site to install the worktop.
