Manufacturing

The question that you may be thinking is where will my stone be cut?

Our manufacturing process is taken place in-house in Hoddesdon, with a stunning 10,000 square feet premises.

Our warehouse includes some of the latest technology within the stone industry, such as, the water jet which helps deliver a precise and accurate cut-out for any material, at any thickness.

Another impressive machine that we use consistently is our bridge saw also known as a sawing machine which guarantees professional quality cuts.

Lastly, we use an edge-polisher, which helps achieve continuous high quality edge profiles to the worktop.

Manufacturing and cutting

Now, this stage is the most exciting part of the process. Once the template has been established, the warehouse team will start cutting the stone.

- Template will be taken back to the workshop the next day and the process of cutting your stone will begin.

- Stone will be cut accordingly to the templating by placing the slab onto the Saw machine which cuts horizontally and vertically, which is then passed onto our waterjet machine for precise and accurate cut-out’s. Moving swiftly onto the edge polishing machine to give all edges a smooth finish.

- Once the stone is cut and complete, our warehouse manager will inspect the job and approve it.
